Organised crime

Put together a crew and plan a heist, from a bank job to a gold depot.

Marina and smuggling

Buy a boat, load it with goods and smuggle by sea. The Coast Guard patrols, and the price at the destination pays for the risk.

Airports

Fly between eight cities, or buy the concession and own a whole airport with your own fuel market.

Plantation

Grow, harvest and sell three varieties, from a backyard to a professional operation, if you survive the raids.

Businesses

Run laundromats, bars and money-laundering fronts for passive income, as long as you keep them.

Stock market

Buy, sell and short shares in a market that moves with the underworld.

Gangs, territories and war

Build a syndicate, take over cities, prepare for sieges and go to war for the Nordics.

Found your own newspaper, hire an editorial team and sell subscriptions. One paper per city, and the city is your market.

Bribe police chiefs, judges and customs officers. The benefits last as long as the envelope keeps coming.

Blackjack, Russian roulette, dice, poker, scratch cards and lotto draws. The house usually wins.

How old do I have to be?: You must be 15 or older. NORDKRIM is a fictional game with a mature theme: all “crime” in it is make-believe. Read more
Is NORDKRIM available in English?: The game began as a Norwegian-language game, and the English version is new. This website, sign-up and log-in, the menus and the main buttons are in English, and more of the game is being translated. Read more
Can I lose my character?: Not at the moment. The permanent kill feature, called Drep, has been paused since 18 October 2026. Read more
How does the rank ladder work?: You climb through 15 ranks as you build Respect, from Sivilist (civilian) to Capo Don. The ranks in order are Sivilist, Småkjeltring, Lommetyv, Løpegutt, Langer, Soldat, Torpedo, Håndhever, Bøddel, Capo, Konsigliere, Underboss, Boss, Don and Capo Don. Read more
